Overview

This series of posters was created to display data I found that observed the growth of certain technologies, particularly among younger audiences. Each is intended to tell a different narrative based on the data I found but is always intended to assist in overviewing how these technologies are used by younger audiences to aid in evaluating how to regard these trends and effectively use these technologies.

Online Video Sharing

The Online Video Sharing poster features a main graphic intended to overview the growth of video sharing overtime. In particular this growth correlates with its popular use among 18 – 29 year olds and the growth of smartphone usage.

Digital Music Trends

The Digital Music Trends poster observes that radio is still the most common way of listening to music. However the data also displays that video streaming services are also a popular method to listen to music.

Video Conferencing

This poster was inspired by the need to use video conferencing technologies during the current crisis. The 2019 data shows that younger audiences appeared to be using video conferencing for work more than other audiences. It also shows that Skype remains the most popular video meeting service among this age group.
